• Purpose of the project: Creating a platform where the love for mother's cooking will be shared and celebrated!
• Objective: We've created a food blog where we combined the delicate touch of mother's cooking with Ava's desire to bring the same recipes out with her organic spin
• Approach: We first looked at the way we want to present the recipes. Incorporating a clear and simple way of following the recipe with listed ingredients always be available with a simple touch. We wanted to de-mystify the whole cooking process and yet conserve the same love and passion for cooking that we've both got from our mother's
• Project duration: 3 months for the whole project, from branding, messaging, creating the designs and developing it in Webflow.

Ava wanted to preserve all the recipes and fond memories of her mother's cooking and combine them with her own joy of preparing healthy, organic meals for her loved ones. Our goal was to create a design that would reflect the care mothers put into their cooking for their loved ones, and through this reflection present Ava’s healthy organic meals.

I wanted to share my organic recipes and at the same time pay tribute to my mother's undying love for cooking. I talked with Ivan about my idea and we got the ball rollin'. :)

The key parts for me were to provide a clear style that doesn't put me at the forefront, but my (and mother's) love for cooking. Also I hated those recipes that go on and on without actually providing instructions and you had to scroll up and down to check what is in the ingredients, when you need to mix this with that... So annoying.

And Ivan made it masterfully! No irritating ads or spammy text, a very clean and pleasing style. And the recipes were super easy to upload and follow through! That was a big one for me. Thank you so much!
